Creative Typography.
Typography is sometimes seen as a black art, and sometimes as not important. One of the reasons you may be reading this is that you care about the typographic content of your work.
I have always believed that typography alone can’t make an idea great, but if you start with a good piece of work, the typography can make it outstanding. I am a life member of the Typographic Circle – to see what they do click on the image above.
Having been in and around type all of my working life I’ve come across many problems to which I have developed solutions. It’s about having passion for it as a craft as well as enthusiasm for it as an art. Like everything else in this world, nothing stays the same and production methods come and go, but harnessing modern technology to the traditional craft of typography presents a strong combination. That doesn’t rule out a solution that could include using metal or even wood type.
If you are involved in a project requiring some typographic finesse, give me a call.
